STAHLS' CAD-COLOR® Soft Opaque II Printable Heat Transfer Vinyl

An opaque printable heat transfer vinyl for print/cut systems. Create vibrant, soft-hand transfers that stretch with the garment, even on the darkest fabrics. The new version is easier to mask, applies at a low temperature and dries fast.

Specifications

• Ink: Solvent inks with a print/cut system only (not for desktop inkjet or laser printers)
• Composition: Polyurethane (PU), 80 microns (0.080 mm)
• Carrier: High-tack, clear
• Ratings: Stretch and rebound 5, washability 50, color fastness 5
• Fabrics: 100% cotton, 100% polyester, cotton/poly blends, Lycra®/spandex blends
• Recommended mask: Magic Mask, Medium Tack

Application

• Heat press: 250°F / 121°C, medium pressure (#6 on Hotronix), 5–7 seconds, hot peel
• Print and cut the design in positive form on the media side.
• Let it dry, then weed away excess material.
• Mask the weeded design, smoothing out air bubbles.
• Lift the mask to release the vinyl from the backing, position on the garment and press.
